I am married to my high school sweetheart, Zack. We have a son, Kohen, who is our angel. He is a healthy, happy, toddler that keeps us one our toes. He has just officially entered the TERRIBLE two's.
I have been a nurse for almost eight years now. I worked in Labor and Delivery for the past three years on the night shift. It is AWESOME to be part of the miracle of the birth of a child. I enjoyed my time there. I have recently taken a new position working with a group of anesthesiologists. My new position is part time, eight hour shifts, no weekends, holidays, call nights, pagers, or phones. WOW! It is quite a change. A welcome one.
My own pregnancy was a real turning point in my life. You can read the rest of the story under my blog, "All things work together". That I truly believe. That was a difficult time for me, but God used that to bring me to a place where I needed Him. I started attending church when Kohen was a few months old, and it has really changed my life.
I am FAR from perfect, just forgiven. We have been attending at The Rock Family Worship center for the past few months. We really like it there! We are looking forward to becoming more involved there. God is really doing some neat things there! If you have never been you ought to try it out!
I am very outgoing, I enjoy being around people and can talk to just about everyone. I also cherish my time alone. I am clumsy. I can laugh at myself. I am very easy going and try to give others the benefit of the doubt. I am pretty open minded and realize everyone has a different point of view.
Things I enjoy, my family, my son's laughter, reading, MUSIC ALL KINDS, especially 70's, the great outdoors, photography, historical homes and cemeteries, play dates, lunch dates, shopping, girls night out, pedicures, sandals, silver jewelry, grilling out, swimming wherever the beach, pool, lake, the smell of fresh cut grass, crickets chirping, long strolls, FALL, Auburn football, WAR EAGLE, keeping in touch with old friends, cold beer, and HOT BATHS!
